Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy

Aethon Security respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), we have adopted the following policy regarding copyright infringement.

1. Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you believe that any content on the Aethon Security website infringes your copyright, please notify our designated DMCA Agent in writing. Your notification must include the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• Identification of the copyrighted work or works you claim have been infringed.

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the user responsible for posting the content.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated DMCA Agent. Your counter-notification must include the following information:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the content that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed or disabled (e.g., the URL of the content).
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Aethon Security may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of that person.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed or disabled content in accordance with the DMCA.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Aethon Security has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users or account holders who are repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to terminate accounts without prior notice for any user who infringes the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is a repeat infringement.

5. Good Faith Misrepresentation

Any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages under the DMCA. If you submit a claim or counter-notification under the DMCA, please be sure you have a good-faith belief that the content in question is infringing or was removed by mistake.

6. Modifications to This Policy

Aethon Security reserves the right to modify or update this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the website after any modifications will constitute your acknowledgment and acceptance of the changes.
